Friday my dad, my grandpa and I decided we needed a day out, so we headed to Strawberry to one of our usual riding spots. We have been going to this same spot ever since I can remember, we have lots of good memories on this trail. So we headed out. I was lucky enough to ride my dad's idiot horse because mine is still in Lake Shore having a tune up. Usually Taz is a nut case, but I am proud to report that all three horses were great. Except for when Taz tried to scrape me off by taking me under a pine tree, and tried to lose me by taking a flying leap over the creek. Other than that, there were no major injuries! It was a success! We were even able to see a few deer and three cow moose. It was really cool! Another good day out on the horses.

Days of 47 Rodeo - Day 2

I am a bit behind on posting pictures, but here they are! Emily and I went down to the rodeo on Tuesday the 22 and we met up with Jenn, Colton, and Kaydee for dinner before. It was so much fun! Kaydee and Colton are so cute! I love the pictures of Kaydee and her faces! She is so funny!

A Day With My Horse

This weekend, Kris, Matt, and I loaded up and headed up Payson Canyon. It was so beautiful up there! It was not too hot, so it made a perfect day to ride! It would have been even better if my horse would have been a little bit better, but a bad day on a horse is better than a good day at work! (As you will tell in the pictures, Kris and I had to make a horse swap half way through!) We had a great time, and were even able to get in on a big herd of elk! I loved it!

Days of 47 Rodeo - Day 1

I get so excited every year to go down to Salt Lake and go to the Days of 47 Rodeo with the Hopkins family. Andy works for Justin Rodeo Sports Medicine, so he is either out in the arena or working on cowboys, so that leaves Jenn and the kids, so I like to go and hang out with them. Last night was the first night I went down, and there will me more to come next week for sure! While we were sitting there, President Monson came in, and we were able to see him many times last night. Near the end of the rodeo when he was leaving I was able to get a few pictures of him, but my camera sucks, so they are not very good. Colton was even able to shake his hand. It was so cool!

Watson Family Reunion

Last weekend we had the opportunity to go to the Heber Valley Camp for the Watson Family reunion. It was so beautiful up there! We did lots of fun activities...

This was our version of Goldilocks and the three bears. Jenn was Goldilocks, TJ was baby bear, Mike was momma bear, and Wayne (not pictured) was daddy bear. It was very interesting!

There are really no such thing as cute pictures when you are camping, so sorry everyone, you all look so cute! For the 4th of July a whole herd of the Watson clan went camping up Buck Springs in Strawberry. It was so beautiful and so much fun! We were able to relax, ride the 4 wheeler, hike, some fished, and chase the dogs! I loved every minute of it, except when my dog had to sleep in my tent. That made for a really long night!

One of the North's favorite family traditions is hauling hay. Ever since I was little every summer we would haul hay. I even would contribute by driving the tractor or rolling bales, and if I was feeling really good, then I would help stack. But this year was not quite so easy. We decided to start on Thursday night and all the help we had consisted of TJ, me, Emily (sometimes), Stevie, and Patric (who married into this great tradition)!
