A Date With The Parents

Seeing my mom on a 4 wheeler might come as a shock to most of you, but here is proof that she goes, and that she likes it! (I think...) It was fun to get get out again while the weather is still good! And it's fun that I have parents that like to do things like this! Thanks mom and dad for letting me tag along! :)

A 4 Wheeler + Dirt + Crazy Friends = SO MUCH FUN!

Saturday a group of us took the 4 wheelers up Snake Creek and over towards Little Deer Creek. We had so much fun! The fall leaves were amazing and the weather was perfect. We could not have asked for a better day! Of course we took full advantage of the huge stream and got all sorts of muddy and dirty. But that is what 4 wheeling is all about!

This is our version of a girls night out! We had so muh fun! The six of us packed up the wheelers and headed off for Cascade Springs. On the way we found lots of water, mix that with a whole lot of dirt and that equals mud! At one point in time I had to take my boot off to dump out all of the water! It was awesome! Thanks ladies for such a fun night! And there better be many more!

More Playing

Friday evening Kelsey, Matt and I went for a horse ride. All I have to say is that it's about time! My horse has been on break since May, that sucks! So we loaded up and went up Willow Creek in Strawberry. It was so much fun! We did not see very many animals, that could possibly be because we were not very quiet! Oh well, it was a blast!

This last week Brooke, Kelsey and I went up and visited Andy while he was camping. I must say he picked probably the most awesome camp spot! We rode the 4 wheeler and of course roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. You pretty much could not ask for a better summer night!

Sunday Afternoon Drive

Last Sunday a couple of friends and I took a drive up over Lake Creek into Center Creek. It was so beautiful up there! We took the Cruiser and it works very well in the mountains! Good purchase! :) Here are a few pictures of our adventure!

Camping

We finally made it camping, and it was about time! We had so much fun riding the 4 wheelers, hiking, playing baseball, shooting, being lazy, and playing horseshoes! My family has a new addiction with horseshoes, and it gets pretty competitive! Imagine that!?! Hopefully we can get back out camping before the summer ends, and maybe, just maybe we can get Tamara to stay over.... just once.

Flaming Gorge

This last weekend I went to Flaming Gorge with some friends to fish for the weekend. I did to expect to be a die hard, but it ended up being that way! We spent all day, I mean ALL day on the boat trying to catch Lake Trout. It takes a lot of patience, so it was difficult for me! It was such an amazing time, especially since I had only caught 2 fish in my whole life prior to this weekend. The final count was 16 small mouth bass, 6 rainbow trout, and 2 lake trout. Not to shabby!

Memorial 5K

Back in May my family went to a memorial 5k for my great uncle who died while training for a marathon. It was really fun to be able to go and spend time with family.

The New Ride

Yes, I am still alive, I just have not had anything in my life post-worthy. But finally I do! After almost a month of having to share a car with a 16 year old who wants to drive her OWN car, I finally found the car that I was looking for! I have been so patient (which is a HUGE accomplishment for me!) and now my patience has finally paid off! I purchased myself a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser! I absolutly love it and I cannot wait to take it up the mountain! I will get some picture of the inside for the next post. We have to spread this out so that I can blog more often!

Today is Miss Emily's 16th Birthday! I cannot believe it! It makes me feel so old that the baby of the family will be driving and dating! Em, I hope you have a great day! I love you!

Out With The Old

I have decided to try to sell my beloved 4 Runner. It is kind of sad, but it is time for something new. So if any of you know of anyone who wants to buy this beauty let me know!

I'm a Blogging Slacker!

It has been awhile since I have blogged, if I had a more exciting life it would be different, but it's not. Time just flies and there are way too many boring things to do in a day! The only really exciting thing (well not really) is that last Sunday I was called as the Relief Society President in my ward. Hello! Who would have ever thought. It is the most scary thing ever! I hate being in front of people! But it will be good for me to have to put myself out there I guess! That is what I get for going to church faithfully! Other than that, that is about it! Hopefully something exciting happens soon....

Pheasant Hunting

This last weekend some friends took my dad, TJ and I out pheasant hunting. It was a blast! I loved it! The weather was just perfect and it turned out to be a great day!
