Finally I can get back to some of the things I enjoy doing! Last week, Kirk and I went for a drive and came upon 4 moose! It was so amazing, there were 2 bulls and a cow and a calf. One of the bulls was huge, and he was being bothered by the smaller bull. We were close enough that you could hear them grunting at each other, and I thought for sure we were going to get to see them fight, but the smaller bull figured it was not a good idea and left. It was so cool to see!

Over the weekend I was able to get back out on my horse and Jena and I went for a beautiful fall morning ride. The colors are amazing, and the weather is perfect! Such a great way to spend the morning! I rode my little horse this time and she continues to impress me. She is such a curious little thing and she loves to go! I could not be happier with the way she has turned out!

Yep, the only one was of TJ! Ha ha! This was on Monday morning, just before he shot his elk. This was before the nerves set in and he could not sit still. TJ ended up getting a great bull, I still tell him that I worked just as hard for his as I would have for one of my own, and therefore it is considered both of ours! It was such a fun hunt, it literally was 9 days of hell! We had so many funny things happen every day that seemed to point to the fact that I was not destined to have a big bull, I did have opportunities to shoot at something every single day, but they just were not the one I wanted. I was so jealous of TJ getting his early on! With him done that left me with quite a following of men trying to find me the right one! Thanks so much to my dad, Kirk, TJ, Trevor, Justin, and Laine for putting up with me for a whole week!
Here is Kirk holding the fish I caught in the above picture. I was not holding it correctly (pardon me) so he had to do it better. Well if you look at the pictures below you will notice whose fish is bigger! Yep! Who cares about how you hold the fish, mine was bigger!
